The Parable of the Weeds

Jesus told this parable: A man sowed good seed in his field. While his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and left. When the plants came up and bore grain, the weeds also appeared. The man said that they would let both grow together until the harvest. At harvest time they should first gather the weeds and bind them in bundles to be burned, but the wheat should be gathered into his barn. (Mat 13:24–30).

Jesus explained this parable: The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, Jesus himself. The field is the world, and the good seed are the sons of the kingdom, the children of God who love the Lord. The weeds are the sons of the wicked one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of time, see
The Rapture
The Return of Jesus, The Sheep and the Goats, and Messiah's Second Coming in The Prophecies of Isaiah. The reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so it will be at the end of time. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather all causes of sin and all law-breakers
out of his kingdom, and throw them into the fiery furnace, see What Does the Bible Say about Hell? In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father's kingdom. (Mat 13:3643).

This means that there is true and false living in this kingdom today, side by side, even in the same church. It also means that it's difficult to distinguish between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world. We live in a mixed kingdom.
