The Sheep and the Goats

General:

Jesus said: When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.
All the nations (Gentiles) will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He shall place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the king will say to those on his right to enter his kingdom, prepared for them since the creation of the world. They had helped him when he was hungry, thirsty, a stranger, in need of clothing, sick, and in prison.

Whatever they did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of the king, they did for him. Then he will tell those on his left to depart from him into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. They didn't help him when he was hungry, thirsty, a stranger, in need of clothing, sick, and in prison. Whatever they didn't do for one of the least of these, they didn't do for him. Then they will
go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. (Mat 25:31
46).

This was Jesus last speech before his arrest and crucifixion. This
"Judgement of the Nations" occurs when Jesus returns and sits on his throne.

The Bible speaks in several places about judgement such as:
Rom 14:10–12, 1 Cor 3:10–4:5, 2 Cor 5:1–10, Rev 20:1115, 22:12.

There are three final judgements associated with the last days:

  • The Judgement Seat of Christ:
It's a judgement of rewards based on the works of the born again people, the Body of Christ. It takes place after The Rapture and is for the followers of Christ who participated in the rapture. This judgement is based on how they have used the gifts and abilities that God has given them, see time 6:06–7:49 in Bible Q & A with Pastor Paul. "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." (Gal 6:9–10). Those in the household of faith are family, see Unity.
  • The Judgement of the Nations:
See this story of Jesus above, and the explanation below.
  • The Great White Throne Judgement:
See The Great White Throne Judgement. The followers of Jesus who participated in The Rapture won't be judged at the Great White Throne, because their sins have already been judged. Jesus took their sins.

The Judgement of the Nations:

God has still a plan for Israel (Isaiah 49:14–15), see for example
The 144 000 in the Book of Revelation
. The Christian church hasn't replaced Israel
in prophecies and promises. The so called "
Replacement Theology" is wrong,
see this explained in The Depth of the Riches in The Book of Romans.

Antichrist will attack Jerusalem a
t the end of the Great Tribulation (Rev 17:9–14),
see The Return of Jesus. This attack is being made from all the Gentile nations of the world (Zechariah 14:2–3). Then Jesus returns and defeats the attacking nations on Israel's behalf. Israel will then turn to the Lord Jesus in a collective national repentance (John 19:37, Zechariah 12:10), see this explained also in
The Depth of the Riches in The Book of Romans. Afterwards, Jesus will sit on the throne and judge the people of the Gentile nations who survived the time of the Great TribulationThis begins The Millennial Kingdom.

The judgement begins with a separation of the people of these Gentile nations
(Mat 25:32). Jesus will take vengeance on those who don't know God and who don't obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus (2 Thess 1:7b–8). God is also coming to judge those who cause Israel to try to divide their land (Joel 3:1–2). The judgement of these is based on how they have treated the people of Israel, especially
during the time of the Great Tribulation when it will be very risky to stand up for Israel. Some people will stand up for them (for the least ones) when they are persecuted on a larger scale. Loving God and having an attitude of support and solidarity for Israel is a simultaneous thing of the Holy Spirit, see Explanation to Satan's Attack on the Woman in the Book of Revelation and the end part of The Book of Joel.
See also Isaiah 60:1–5 described at time 9:02–9:49 in
Isaiah 60-62 • Prophecies of the Millennial Kingdom.

It is also about helping those in need, see the video The Sheep and the Goats | MATTHEW 25:31-46. See also The Parables of the Talents and the Ten Minas.

The persons who were saved after The Rapture, stood up for Israel, and helped those in need are invited to The Millennial KingdomThese people are the ones who will live and die during The Millennial Kingdom. See these videos:
The people who participated in The Rapture will receive their new resurrected bodies and won't die during The Millennial Kingdom. The remaining people will go away to eternal punishment (Mat 25:46), see What Does the Bible Say about Hell?
